Director of Automotive Sales

Epinovatech is looking for an accomplished Sales Director for the automotive marketplace that possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to close sales grow markets from development through expansion. This accomplished sales leader will have extensive knowledge of the automotive industry supply chain and sales channels. This person will be an expert in building relationships with key prospects and existing customers to uncover opportunities for Epinovatech to become a leading supplier of the Epinovatech product range.

Beyond the ability to connect with and influence people, the Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing a territory growth plan by targeting companies in the power electronics for the automotive industry. The Sales Director will spend the majority of their time cultivating new customers and developing new business opportunities, but also managing existing customer relationships and business activity.

Epinovatech is a world leading supplier of OBC technologies and related products. Based in Lund Sweden working on a global market.

 
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with new customers and identifying and targeting key prospects

  2. Develop and grow existing accounts based on customer requirements. Set sales goal targets for each assigned customer by product and create a sales plan to meet these targets. Provide regular updates on the progress of the sales targets versus the actual results.

  3. Identify and communicate client needs relating to price, delivery, quality, industry trends, client trends and key personnel to stakeholders within Epinovatech to ensure timely follow up and execution of customer expectations.

  4. Provide technical and commercial customer solutions that drive business growth and profitability.

  5. Determine market price levels for various products and make recommendations on pricing strategies.

  6. Provide market, product and competitor intelligence to ensure the company has strong knowledge of the competitor and market landscape.

  7. Prepare sales forecast, attend trade shows, make presentations and support Management as requested.

  8. Deliver company value proposition, along with ROI

  9. Continually strive to enhance knowledge and develop professional selling skills.

 
Travel:

Frequent travel within globally to customer and channel partner location.

 
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of five – seven (5-7) years experience in an Automotive sales or business development, technical sales or customer facing role for a custom products designer and manufacturer.
  • Commercial experience in Technical sales, Project Management or Material Sourcing is a plus.
  • Must be able to document a progressive track record of securing new business and growing profitable sales year over year.
  • Sales savvy with technical aptitude and ability to promote and sell products to new and existing customers.
 
Education Requirements:
  • 4 year college degree (BA or BS) Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical).
  • Technical background and aptitude is preferred.
